Palermo,
2-Jun-2015 -
Mario Pagliaro, a
chemistry and solar energy scholar based in Sicily at Italy's Research
Council, has delivered the
evaluation
report of an important research project in chemistry at France's
Research Agency (
Agence Nationale de la Recherche, Paris).
The report is the second of a series initiated in 2014.
Providing relevant funding for project-based research in
all fields of science to public
research organisations and to private
companies, France's
national Agency
invites eminent foreign scientists to review proposals.
Following
peer review, the
accepted proposals receive significant funding aimed to enhance the
competitiveness of French research in Europe and across the world.
"
Acting as reviewer for such
prestigious institution -- says Dr Pagliaro --
is a welcome opportunity to enhance the
standing and the influence of research carried out in Sicily".
Dr Pagliaro is also an active reviewer for the Royal Society (United
Kingdom) and the Pazi Foundation (Israel).
