Pagliaro has been appointed today member of the
Editorial Board of
4Open a
new open access, multidisciplinary Journal published by EDP Sciences, a
scientific publisher founded in 1920 owned by five
European societies, including the French Chemical Society.
The journal features all types of articles in the medical, natural, and
applied sciences disciplines including materials and engineering, with
four main subject domains in medicine – life sciences,
physics, chemistry and mathematics.
4Open stands for
the four pillars representing open science (Open Access, Open Data,
Open Code and Open peer review).
The first article, "
Science
belongs to no one–and to everyone", was published
online by the end of 2017. The author is Professor Björn
Brücher, a Professor of surgery and a distinguished fellow of
New Westminster, who is Editor-in-Chief of the journal's life sciences editorial section.
Dr Pagliaro joins the chemistry editorial section.
Mario Pagliaro is a chemistry
and
energy scholar currently based in
Italy where he leads a research Group whose work is
developed in
co-operation with leading researchers based in 20 countries, including
Israel, China, Portugal and Canada. His Group's
research achievements, include over 200 research paper and
21 books.
