Europe’s chronic lack of investment in new energy technologies - How it started and what to do now

The students of the MA Course in Entrepreneurship and Management of Palermo's University alongside Mario Pagliaro who lectured at the course on November 23, 202223-Nov-2022 - Invited by chair in Research methodologies for organizational management, Professor Gandolfo Dominici, Mario Pagliaro lectured today the students of the MA Course in Entrepreneurship and Management of Palermo's University.

Originating from numerous countries, including Sweden and the Philippines, the students were given a succinct yet updated presentation of the delay Europe is facing when it comes to renewable energy industry and new energy industrial technologies.

Dr Pagliaro explained first how Europe’s chronic lack of investment in new energy technologies started and what to do now to now and in the next few years to reverse the situation.

Following a brief insight into renewable energy technologies, the Academia Europaea's member explained why renewable energy is a global economic need.

Showing the status of the renewable energy industry in China, Europe, and North America, he presented the unavoidable need for government investment in these technologies in Europe, USA and also in India.

Uploaded on a widely used academic social network, the presentation is openly accessible and downloadable online.

Entirely taught in English, the MSci in Entrepreneurship and Management at the University of Palermo aims to shape successful managers for companies operating in today's hypercompetitive marketplace as well as to understand how to turn an entrepreneurial idea into a successful venture.
