Mario
Pagliaro, a renowned chemistry and energy scholar based at Italy's
Research Council, has been granted membership by the
Society of Chemical Industry.
Established in London in 1881, the SCI is an unique multi-science and
multi-disciplinary community based around chemistry promoting
applied science and industry, with
networking forum designed to promote and foster new ideas and turn
innovations into commercial reality.
The Society organizes training and
development courses and co-publishes several prestigious
scientific
journals with John Wiley & Sons including
Science of Food & Agriculture,
the
Journal of Chemical Technology
& Biotechnology,
Polymer
International and
Biofuels,
Bioproducts and Biorefining.
The Society runs an active and diverse
conference
programme with over 250 events per year.
