Mario Pagliaro has
delivered the
evaluation
report of an important research project in materials
science at Estonian Research Council.
The
Estonian
Research Council (ETAg) invited Dr Pagliaro to contribute his
expertise to the evaluation of
Mobilitas
Pluss top researcher grant applications submitted to ETAg.
ETAg is the sole provider of financing for basic research in Estonia,
both for research teams and individual researchers, on the basis of
open public competition. Mobilitas Pluss is a researcher mobility
programme co-funded from the
European
Regional Development Fund. The top researcher funding
scheme seeks research applications of the
highest international calibre
and the Council requested Dr Pagliaro's assistance in identifying the
very best applications.
"
Having the
most prestigious institution of a country which hosts scientific
institutions ranked amongst the world's best
-- says Dr Pagliaro --
further
enhances the recnognition of
research carried out in Sicily by our Group. Time is ripe for Italy's
Government to act and establish in Sicily the Institute of solar energy
and the bioeconomy at Italy's Research Council".
